No. In Georgia (Atlanta Gas Light territory) you can’t buy natural gas supply from the utility and must select a provider. In Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania, you can choose your gas supplier or stay with the utility standard rate. Regardless of your choice, your local utility company will continue to read the meter, handle delivery and respond to any emergencies.
Because we make natural gas shopping easier, not more confusing. Our goal isn’t to push a specific plan. It’s to help you choose one that actually fits your home or business. We review and standardize supplier information so you can compare plans without gimmicks or hidden surprises. We’ve been doing that since 2017.
We earn compensation from the gas provider you select when you enroll through our platform. You never pay a fee to use our site, and the fee we receive doesn’t change the price of your plan. Providers cannot pay to be featured on our site.
The timeline to switch your natural gas supplier varies by state but it typically takes one to two billing cycles to be effective.
