As you can see above, the average price for natural gas in Georgia changes monthly. Historically, the best time to shop for natural gas is between December and January.

But you can’t always pick the timing of when you shop for natural gas. Most people shop when their contract expires.

Your current provider will send you a renewal notice 45 days before your expiration date. Visit our GA gas rate tracking chart to see the prices from all the Georgia gas marketers.

TIP: If you shop before the 19th of the month, your supplier will switch during the next meter read cycle. If you wait until the 20th, your switch could take 2 billing cycles.

NaturalGasPlans.com doesn’t represent all the gas marketers. We only work with the suppliers that have passed our rigorous review process. These are companies that consistently have great rates, excellent customer service and special offers.

But, our rate tracking chart will show prices from other providers too, since the Gas Marketers Pricing Comparison PDFs from the state are difficult to use. And, you can easily see that we work with the companies with the best offers!
