Who Qualifies for the Georgia Senior Citizen’s Discount on Natural Gas?
Customers with a total household income of $24,980 or less and that are 65 years of age or older qualify to receive a discount on their Atlanta Gas Light delivery charges.
This discount is on the delivery portion of your bill. You can receive a discount on your natural gas delivery, up to $14 off your natural gas bill in Georgia.
How Do I Get A Senior Discount on Natural Gas in Georgia?
If you are in the Atlanta Gas Light territory and meet the qualifications above, you can get discount on your natural gas bill. This senior’s discount is available to you no matter what supplier you use.
If you qualify, there are just two steps:
1) Compete this senior citizen natural gas discount form from Atlanta Gas Light (AGL).
2) Mail the form to Atlanta Gas Light, 540 GA. Highway 138 SW, Riverdale, GA 30274
You’ll need to include a copy of your driver’s license, photo ID or birth certificate as proof of your age. You’ll also need to provide a copy of your W-2 or your social security pay stub as proof of income. The natural gas service account must be in the name of the person applying for the discount.
This will not cover your whole AGL Pass-Through Charge, but it will help cover some of the costs!
